Abigail and her flock
We have three female Geese at the farm. Abigail has been here the longest and is showing our two new girls the ropes. They are Dorothy, named after a recently deceased friend of the farm, and Gabriella, a name chosen by our younger volunteers.
We are very sad about the loss early in 2012 of our male gander Gregory, who had been at the farm for 28 years. You can see a ‘blue plaque’ commemorating his life on the side of the goat shed nearest the garden.
