Animal sponsorship
There are three types of sponsorship.
Small animals
Sponsoring one of the small animals pays to keep your chosen animal fed and healthy for one year, also entitles you to four supervised visits throughout the year where you can hold, feed and look after your animal.

It is not possible to handle the ducks, geese, turkey, degus or chinchillas. Some of the chickens also do not like to be handled, so please ask a member of staff if you would like more information about who are the friendliest animals to handle.
Big animals
Secondly we have sponsorship for some of the big animals which is done on a yearly basis too.
Sponsorship of a big animal also entitles you to come and visit them, and help feed and muck them out four times a year; please ring beforehand to arrange this as we need a member of staff available to supervise.

Currently it is not possible to sponsor the calves, donkey and goats as they do not belong to the farm and so may return to their owners during the year.
All sponsors receive photo and certificate if you spend over £25 you also get a history of your animal.
Animal parts
It is also possible to sponsor part of an animal, so if you would like to sponsor a trotter, snout or rump we can arrange this. Rates vary so please contact us for more information.
When choosing an animal please remember that not all of the animals are possible to handle, most of the ducks, chickens and turkeys do not like to be held, though Greg our twenty year old goose likes a cuddle!
