Over the past nine years the Farm has run a very popular and successful volunteer programme thanks to funding from The City Bridge Trust, Jack Petchy Foundation, Tudor Trust and The Big Lottery.
Currently our volunteer program consists of:
- The Mini Farmers Club is held every Saturday morning from 10.30—12.30. It’s a great way for younger kids to learn about nature, make arts and crafts and get to know the animals, under the careful supervision of our livestock worker. This is a free session and is aimed at young people aged 8–12 years. Contact Charlie-Jane at email@example.com.
- Volunteering in the shop. You can build up your skills and get help applying for jobs. There are various shifts throughout the week so if you are interested contact Tommy at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Corporate team building can be arranged for groups wanting to make a big difference in a day. Please e-mail Charlotte at email@example.com.
We are always grateful for additional help!
As a way of saying thanks to our volunteers for all their hard work we arrange trips and activities for them. These activities include Capel Manor Harvest Festival – a show involving all the city farms from around London, which is held annually at Capel Manor College in Enfield.
