Come down to the farm and support a much-loved local charity as we have real Christmas trees for sale in Hackney, London. Our farm-grown Christmas trees are a premium grade, non-drop Nordmann Fir. They are fairly priced and all proceeds from every tree go directly to Hackney City Farm. This helps us to care for the animals, gardens and community projects that make the farm a special place for local families.

Our Nordmann Fir Premium Grade (Non Drop) Christmas trees come in the following sizes:

• 3–5ft £45.00
• 5–6ft £55.00
• 6–7ft £65.00
• 7–8ft £75.00
• 8–10ft £98.00

Tree stands:

• 3–5ft tree stand £18.00 (4 inch stand)
• 5–7ft tree stand £22.00 (5 inch stand)
• 8–10ft tree stand £30.00 (6 inch stand)

The cut trees are wrapped with bio-degradable netting. Ask a member of staff to help choose the right height and shape for your home.

Hackney City Farm is free to visit, and we rely on donations, grants and events like Christmas tree sales to keep the gates open. By buying your tree from us, you are:

Tips to get the best from your real tree

1. Trim the base
   When you get home, saw a thin slice (about 1–2 cm) off the base of the trunk to open up the pores.
2. Use a water-holding stand
   Choose a sturdy stand that holds plenty of water. Fill it as soon as you set the tree up and check it daily.
3. Keep it cool
   Place your tree away from radiators, open fires and underfloor heating where possible. Heat dries the tree out faster.
4. Water every day
   A fresh tree can drink a surprising amount of water in the first few days. Keep the base covered to help needles stay put.

Do you deliver Christmas trees?

No, at the moment our Christmas trees are pick-up only from Hackney City Farm. This helps us keep costs down and prices fair for the community.

Are the trees real and farm grown?

Yes, we only sell real, farm-grown Christmas trees from trusted growers, which are selected for quality and needle retention.

What sizes do you have?

We stock trees from around 2 ft up to 10 ft. Availability of specific sizes will change as the season progresses, so visit early!

Do all proceeds go to the farm?

Yes. The tree stall is run by Hackney City Farm and all proceeds go directly to the farm. This supports our animals, gardens and programmes.

When should I come to choose my tree?

We recommend visiting from the middle of November onwards, during our normal opening hours, and as early in the season as you can. Stock is limited and popular sizes sell out fastest.
