Please contact Hackney Archives in advance of your visit. Staff can tell you about using Our Heritage Roots collection. They may need to order records before you visit.
The new self-guide map with photos and drawings from Farm locations incorporates community contributions and is designed by artist Ms. Cat Monstersmith. It is available free at the Farm – a great way for visitors to spot heritage features. Cat also runs a fantastic mosaic class, Thursday evenings at the Farm: http://www.monstersmith.com/hackneycityfarm/mosaic.html
Our Heritage Roots also thanks new volunteer Marc Dangas, graphic designer, who created the poster sharing the new resources.
The artist who drew the Farm publicity above is Michelle Toprak, who volunteered as an artist and committee member for 5 years in the 80s and early 90s. She contributed to the development of this Farm through her time and commitment as well as her beautiful, intricate drawings. Thank you Michelle!
